To enjoy a few days of vacation, we recommend you to learn a bit more about our appellations! And what could be better than visit them?

This week, let´s visit Campo de Borja!

This route runs through the wine-producing area, Campo de Borja. It is located in the northwest of Zaragoza, Aragon. This land is known for two star products: wine and oil. Its geographical conditions give us these types of grapes: garnacha, cabernet, merlot and syrah.

The variety “Garnacha” reaches its entire splendor in Campo de Borja. Single varietal red wines that are enjoying great prestige around the world for its strong personality, quality and complexity.

If there is a nuance that defines wines from Campo de Borja is its unique balance of rich contrasts and the strong will to combine modernity and tradition. The results are intense wines, with crisp fruit flavors, energy and personality, as well as historical wine cellars combined with small family-run wine presses.

Do you want more? You have to visit the Wine Museum of Campo the Borja. It is situated in the Cistercian Monastery of Veruela, at the foot of Moncayo’s mountain range. It opened its doors in September 1994, and it is one of the pioneers in Spain and the first of its kind in the region of Aragón.
